Ticket for the visit, 3€.
The Church of the Holy Trinity, or the wooden Articular Church is one of the oldest churches in Kežmarok. It is a national cultural monument since 1985 and a UNESCO monument since 2008. It was built in 1717 in the suburbs, behind the city walls. It is not known how it was originally, of it only the late Renaissance baptistery (from 1690) and the stone epitaphs from 1688 are preserved. The only stone part of the church is the sacristy. A wall was also built around the church, but it was demolished due to its poor condition. The last rehabilitation was carried out between 1991 and 1996.
The New Protestant Church was built between 1872 and 1894 in an eclectic style by local builder Viktor Lazary according to plans by the famous Viennese architect Theophil von Hansen. It is one of the national cultural monuments of the Slovak Republic. Between the years 1907 and 1909 the Emeric Thököly mausoleum was built on the north side. The church was restored in the 1960s.
